Self-host the data path

Run the Private Runner on your own server, NAS, or VPS. Bytes and credentials never leave your network.

Early access self-hosting

$0 /mo

Run the Private Runner on your own hardware. We host the control plane while early access lasts.

Don't know what a control plane is?
  • Bytes and credentials stay on your server, NAS, or VPS
  • Use your runner as a connectable provider
  • All providers — no caps, your bandwidth
  • Manual + simple recurring transfers · dry-run preview
  • Free use of our control plane during the transition; later, migrate it to your own server

30-day run history. Unlimited runners. Single-user during early access.

What affects cost

Three factors shape what your plan should look like.

Data volume

The biggest single driver — how much data moves per job and per month.

Frequency

One-time migrations, recurring backups, and continuous sync each price differently.

Where the transfer runs

Only hosted transfers use our bandwidth and count against your monthly GB. Anything that runs in your browser, on your machine, or on your own server stays uncapped.

Common plan questions

  • Are these prices final?
The plan structure is set. Exact prices may shift slightly before launch.
  • Will there be an annual plan with a discount?
Yes. We're planning an annual option at a discount; the exact pricing isn't set, and it'll launch alongside the paid plans — not before.
  • Will I be charged automatically when launch happens?
No. Joining the waitlist never bills you. Moving from waitlist to a paid plan is always an explicit step.
  • What if I move more data than my plan includes?
On Free, once you hit the 5 GB monthly cap, hosted transfers stop until the next month — the browser tab and the Local Helper keep working. Pro and Business add 1 TB for $2.50 each time you go over. Self-hosting has no GB cap at all; bytes flow through your own server, on your bandwidth.
  • Do Browser Runner, Local Helper, and Private Runner count against my GB allowance?
No. Only the Cloud Runner uses our hosted bandwidth, so only the Cloud Runner counts. Browser Runner runs in your tab, the Local Helper runs as a small daemon on your machine, and the Private Runner runs on your own server — files never touch our infrastructure.
  • Why is self-hosting free?
Once the binary is built, running the Private Runner on your own hardware costs us nothing. During early access, all of self-hosting is free — and the core 'move files between clouds on my own server' will always stay free.
  • What about source-visible self-hosting?
Once the binary is built, running the Private Runner on your own hardware costs us nothing. During early access, all of self-hosting is free.
  • Will I keep my data if I migrate to a self-hosted control plane?
Yes. When the self-host control plane ships, you'll be able to export your jobs, schedules, run history, connections, and audit logs from Syncologic and import them into your own. There's no charge in either direction — your control-plane data is yours to move.
  • What's the Local Helper, and why isn't it just the Private Runner?
The Local Helper is a thin background daemon for one machine — no UI, no admin surface, no multi-user model. It exists so Browser Runner transfers can continue after you close the tab and so a local folder can act like any connected provider. The Private Runner is the full data-plane runtime for NAS, VPS, and servers — multiple jobs, multiple users, plug-ins. They share no code.
